If we were meeting in my kitchen, you’d step over a Lego piece, I’d move a school book off a chair, and we’d both laugh because this is real life. Maybe your heart is carrying the same questions mine has: Am I doing enough? How do I raise kingdom kids when the culture is so loud? Is there a simple way to keep Jesus at the centre without turning life into another checklist? If that’s you, you’re in the right place. I’m writing to the woman I am — and the woman I’ve been.
My name is Tabitha, a Christian mum of six (yes, you read that right), a big believer that motherhood is ministry, and a fan of small, faithful steps over flashy, complicated plans. I’m not a celebrity teacher. I’m not an influencer. I’m a mum with a Bible open on the kitchen table and a child asking for a snack mid prayer… mid EVERYTHING really. Scripture is my anchor; home is my mission field; and I’ve learnt (often the hard way) how to weave discipleship into ordinary days — even the messy ones.
Here’s what you’ll find in this space: Bible-rooted encouragement, simple tools for home discipleship and homeschooling, and gentle guidance for building values-aligned, faceless digital income if that’s on your heart. No perfection theatre. No mum-shaming. Just honest stories, clear Scripture, and rhythms you can borrow this week. Menu, not must-do.
Take a breath, friend. Put the kettle on. You were called for this — and you don’t have to do it alone.
A little about me
I didn’t set out to build a “brand.” I set out to survive dinner time with toddlers, tweens and teens at the same table.
As a mum of a large families with 6 kiddos and 2 under 3 years old. I learnt early that the loudest moments can still be holy ones — Bible open on the kitchen table, cereal underfoot, someone asking where their socks went again. I’ve had the days that feel like drowning and the quiet nights where the questions get loud: Am I failing them? How do I raise arrows when the world keeps aiming at their hearts?
My turning point wasn’t glamorous. It was a Tuesday. We’d abandoned the perfect schedule (again). I stuck a single verse on the fridge and tried a ten-minute devotion with wriggly kids. It wasn’t pretty, but it was possible — and God met us there. That became our rhythm: small, faithful steps, repeated.

Along the way, I started making simple tools to keep Jesus at the centre: verse cards, a devotion template, a planner that didn’t boss me around. Friends asked for copies. More mums did too. That’s how Digital She Wrote grew — not from a marketing plan, but from a kitchen table and a handful of printables that actually worked on messy days. (and there were many… messy days)
I also carry a heart for values-aligned, faceless digital income. I wanted to help with finances without sacrificing the call to be present at home. So I began creating digital products quietly (no dancing on camera), and now I teach other Christian mums how to do the same — ethically, simply, and with their priorities intact.
If you’ve felt invisible, behind, or unsure where to start, you’re my people. I’m still in the thick of it too — raising arrows, tidying crumbs, choosing Scripture over scrolling, and beginning again (often). This space is the overflow of that life. Borrow whatever helps; leave the rest.
What I Believe (and Build On)
These are the rails my life — and this space — runs on.
- Motherhood is ministry.
Serving your family in Jesus’ name is real kingdom work (Colossians 3:23–24). It counts, even when it’s quiet and unseen (Matthew 6:4). - Parents disciple first.
God places formation at the kitchen table (Deuteronomy 6:6–7; Ephesians 6:4). Church is precious, but it partners with home — it doesn’t replace it. - Scripture leads, always.
Feelings matter, but God’s Word is the standard (Psalm 19:7–8). We open the Bible first and build from there. - Grace over grind.
You’re not saved by perfect routines. We choose small, faithful steps and begin again when life unravels (Lamentations 3:22–23; Galatians 6:9). - Menu, not must-do.
Tools should serve you, not boss you. Take what helps for your family and season; leave the rest without guilt. - Large-family tested, little-people friendly.
Short, repeatable rhythms beat complicated systems. Wriggles welcome. Noise expected. - Work can be home-honouring.
Values-aligned, faceless digital income can support your family without stealing your presence. Steward gifts; guard priorities (Proverbs 31:10–27; 1 Corinthians 10:31). - Truth and kindness travel together.
We “speak the truth in love” (Ephesians 4:15). Bold about Scripture, gentle with people. - No perfection theatre.
Repent quickly, repair relationships, and try again. Shame isn’t our shepherd (Romans 8:1; John 10:11).

Start Here (Zero Pressure)
If you’ve only got a sliver of bandwidth, begin with one of these:
- Download the free Motherhood Is Ministry Starter Pack.
Print the verse cards and tape one by the kettle. Say it out loud when you see it. - Try one 10-minute family devotion this week.
Pray (1 min) • Read (3 mins) • Talk (3 mins) • Pray (2 mins) • Do (1 min)
(This time can be stretched to 15 or 20 mins, the idea is that, if you’re strapped for time, this method ensures you never miss time with the Lord) - Pick a breath prayer.
Two lines you can whisper in chaos:
“Strength for now; love for them.” / “Jesus, make me gentle and firm.”
That’s it. If all you manage is one of these, you’ve started beautifully.
A Prayer for Us
Lord Jesus,
Thank You for calling us to this holy, ordinary work.
Give us wisdom for our children, gentleness for our words, and courage for our hearts.
Teach us to see interruptions as invitations and small steps as seeds.
Keep Your Word near our lips and love at the centre of our homes.
We receive this calling again — with glad, imperfect hearts.
Amen.
